I was born in 1968 in Port Angeles. My home has always been in Bear Creek, which is 14 miles north of Forks.

Since I was a small child I’ve fished on the Sol Duc river with my father, Wayne Ray. My father carried me to the river to fish when I was too young to make my own way. Fishing has been my passion every since.

Forks is known for its great river fishing. Forks gets its name from the many rivers in the area, and I fish all of them: Sol-Duc, Calawah, Hoh, Bogachiel and Clearwater.

As a fishing guide, my goal is to have my clients share in the wonderful experience I’ve had all my life fishing in this beautiful country of fish-filled rivers. My passion is God, fishing and family. Ana Ray is my wife and Whitney is our daughter and a student at Forks High School. We are a very close knit family.

Come and enjoy our time together. I like watching the look on someone’s face when the tip of their pole is jerked down by the sudden whizzing of line being swallowed by a brute fish. I love to laugh and have a good time by getting my clients to also have a lot of fun.

I own two drift boats and a raft. The raft is used when the rivers are low. I am fully licensed, first aid / CPR trained and certified.
